We had a memorable day with the first
Business Forum of Get in motion Entrepreneurs.
We had a memorable day with the first Business Forum of Get in motion Entrepreneurs. The topic: A bridge to the latino business community. The audience was really engaged with speakers from Los Angeles, Washington and from the Coachella Valley. We talked about several points about the new statistic of the Latinos in Inland Empire. It was very interesting to listen to the questions and responses to the business panelists. We were so happy to see the diversity during the event with the presence of entrepreneurs, executives from board directors from other organizations in the Coachella Valley and formers directors and presidents from SCORE and SBDC. One of the objectives was to present the milestones of Get in Motion Entrepreneurs. Our mission is to support the Latino business community in the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas.
This was just the beginning of more events of this kind to promote the inclusion of diversity in businesses. The environment was very friendly, positive and very informative. John Epss from the Center for Nonprofit advancement was sharing the importance of diversity to find the best solutions to collaborate with the Latino Communities.
Following the Forum, we had a special moment to celebrate the Ribbon Cutting of the new office and space for workshops for Get in Motion Entrepreneurs. Representative from the elected officials were present: Office of Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia, Office of Supervisor V. Manuel Perez, Office of Senator Jeff Stone.
Finally, we had a great networking time along with lots of tacos, tamales, pasteles and frutas con aguas frescas.
Keep in touch of our coming events.
